Hi Friends,
I was visiting my blog today and saw our nursing blog WAY down the list of recently updated blogs. I thought it'd be fun if everyone were to write a paragraph (heck, a sentence!) of what they're up to, where they're at, and if/where they're working. Sound good?
We're living in Houston. Ella Grace was born in March and is, as you might expect, the love of our lives. I quit my job as a mother/baby nurse when she was born but think I'll start with a staffing agency working once or twice a month when she gets to be a year or so. We're closing on a home this week, and I can't wait to put my years of watching HGTV to good use:) Life is good and I miss my nursing buddies!

We just moved from San Antonio, Tx to Holladay (SLC), Ut. We welcomed our second boy Liam James into our family on May 14, 2011. I quit my job as a labor and delivery nurse a month before he was born. I'm currently not working. Benson our 2 year old is a typical 2 year old. We're loving being back in Utah close to family.
I would love to post something on this again, but somehow I have lost my Author invite or can't seem to find the new post button. Any guesses who I can get this from?

We're living in Detroit, Michigan while Rick is doing his PhD. We had our first baby girl last December- and it has been so great! I am working part time on an ICU unit. Taadaa!

Well you may remember I had a baby a couple weeks after we graduated...and another 13 months after that. When he was seven months old I started working full-time as a med/surg telemetry nurse. It's crazy, but it's great to be a nurse! We live in AF and are building a house. I enjoy being a mom the very best out of all the things I do.

Great idea Aubrey! Since my last post here (when I got engaged) I got married (in June of last year...and changed from Thornock to Mitchell). We live in Salt Lake (acutally Murray) in a little apartment. I work in the Emergency Department at Primary Children's and just recently switched to working the 3p-3a shift! It's great...always busy and always seeing something new!! Other than work, Brian and I have had fun on all kinds of adventures! We visited Brazil for a couple weeks in March and over Labor Day weekend we went on a 6 day canoe backpacking trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks! It's so fun to hear from everyone again!!

Well, my story is surprisingly similar to Lisa's. :) We just moved to Austin, TX about a month ago where my husband is working on his Biochem PhD at the University of Texas. We had a baby girl, Lilly, last November, and I am loving being a mom! I'm starting a PRN position in the North Austin Medical Center ER next week.
GREAT idea! It is so fun to keep in touch with everyone! :)
